“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)

Live a lighted life; what does that mean? How do we light the world and transform darkness? It happens through our thoughts, words & deeds.  For me it is creativity. Things that involve color, texture & artistry feed my soul- maybe it feeds yours, too. I’m a jack of all trades when it comes to crafting. I’m at home with a paintbrush, but I love the colors, textures, and patterns in fiber arts, and if it can be made from recycling objects or gift-able, even better!
